Passion | Aptitude | Discipline

The PAD Program is an off-ice development initiative by Capreol Minor Hockey Association (CMHA), designed to support our players as athletes and individuals. Rooted in the values of Passion, Aptitude, and Discipline, the program encourages leadership, accountability, and respect—on and off the ice.

What is PAD?

  •  Passion: Playing with heart, purpose, and pride in our community
  •  Aptitude: Building awareness, emotional intelligence, and hockey knowledge.
  •  Discipline: Developing responsible habits, teamwork, and strong character.

Program Highlights:

  • Monthly off-ice themes: leadership, wellness, communication, courage, and more
  •  Player journals for self-reflection and goal setting
  •  Community-led workshops and mentorship opportunities
  •  Cultural learning modules delivered in partnership with TIGA
  •  Age-appropriate content for U9–U18 players

Why PAD Matters:

The PAD Program helps young athletes grow into confident leaders, better teammates, and respectful community members. It promotes a safe, inclusive, and development-focused environment where every player is supported in reaching their full potential.

Partners in Growth:

  • HNG (Happy Neighbour Group): Supports healthy fundraising and program delivery
  • TIGA (Turtle Island Guardian Alliance): Leads Indigenous cultural education components

We're investing in who they become—beyond the game.
